Truffle risotto, the creamiest gelato and an afternoon tea fit for a prince. Here are five London food finds from July!
This family-run chocolate business does some UH-MAZING chocolate and gelato in Covent Garden. Wall to wall with every type you can imagine, they do spreads, bars and even have their own ‘choco-gelateria’ downstairs. It’s all made to an Italian recipe of the highest quality which you really can tell. Their hazelnut gelato has a hazelnut paste running through it that’s made with olive oil to give it its distinct flavour and silky texture.

Frescobaldi is a high-end Italian restaurant just off Regent Street. It has beautiful interior and a really extensive wine list which makes it a right good one for a date night, business clients or treating yourself one Saturday night. When somewhere loads on the truffle like they do, you know you’re in for a treat!

Peruvian food is huge in London and one of the top places to eat it is Pachamama. In their stunning basement restaurant, they do a classic ceviche, Peruvian fried chicken and melt in your mouth pork belly amongst a whole host of other small sharing plates. Don’t even get me started on desserts and the coconut brown butter ‘Leche Frita’ . It’s the dream.

4. Taste Film does Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Various Locations.
Taste Film have come up with this amazing concept of watching a film in a restaurant and eating a meal based around it. IT’S SO MUCH FUN. This time it was Charlie and The Chocolate Factory and we each got our very own Wonka bar for dessert with some edible wallpaper! In the past, they’ve done Notting Hill and Pulp Fiction. Now I’m waiting to see if they do 50 Shades of Grey now…
