Chef Sebastian Delamothe of The White Asparagus has worked at some top places around the world including 3-star Michelin restaurants, and as a resident chef on super yachts for the super rich.
His ideas on cooking are based around sustainable, seasonal and delicious food that has been sourced and foraged locally. Which is exactly what we experienced this particular evening.
Arriving at this quirky venue, you get the chance to sit down and mix with people you’ve never met before who evidently share your love for food and an exciting culinary experience.
Over a glass of something red or white, of course.
Starting off with creamy goats yogurt, poached spring onion, flaked almonds, croutons and carob syrup.
A gorgeous combination of crunchy and smooth, sweet and savory.
Wild garlic cacio e pepe, with the garlic foraged from Londons Hampstead Heath.
Some powerful, tasty garlic it was too.
A main of roast pollock, new potatoes, spring vegetables and beurre blanc.
…and THE most delicious ginger parkin cake with lemon posset and a creamy malt ice-cream.
