Supper clubs are big news in London and more and more are popping up on the scene every month.

They give people the chance to try some of the amazing food London has to offer, at the same time as offering a unique experience.  Anything from eating while Shakespeare is being performed, to dining in an underground tube carriage. Even simpler than that, you can even experience home cooking at its best and be invited and cooked for in someone else’s flat.

London is pretty high on the list of the most fascinating, tasty and experimental supper clubs in the world; and today we’re with The White Asparagus at The Pill Box Kitchen.

More on notsobasiclondon.comChef Sebastian Delamothe of The White Asparagus has worked at some top places around the world including 3-star Michelin restaurants, and as a resident chef on super yachts for the super rich.

His ideas on cooking are based around sustainable, seasonal and delicious food that has been sourced and foraged locally. Which is exactly what we experienced this particular evening.

Loads of ideas here and here if you want to check them out.

Equally, if you want to check out Sebastian’s cooking, his stint at Pill Box has finished but he will be at The Cuckoo in Islington from 1st May – 25th June, so keep an eye on the website here.

Whether it’s experiencing local produce at its best like this one, or eating while staring at a naked life art model (Yes, it does exist) there’s something to suit everyone.
