As you’ve probably seen (or hopefully) in part 1, Maltby Street Market has some unbelievable food on offer to stuff your face with.
Out of all the places to eat in the market, there are noticeably two REALLY popular stalls to grab some grub where the queue is a good few people deep, or winding 15 people long down the road.
The first one to show you is The Cheese Truck – EPIC grilled cheese sandwiches…
Let’s be honest here and say a cheese toastie is a cheese toastie.
Why would you travel allllllllllllll the way to a market for essentially a cheese sandwich?? Well, if you look at ANY of the photos on this post you will already know the answer.
Starting with a whopping amount of British cheese….
Stuffed inside chewy sourdough bread…
Brushed with melted butter…
And grilled until the cheese bubbles and the bread is toasty but soft…
Stick in inside a polystyrene dish, eh voila you got yourself one cheesy, artery-clogging treat.
The guys work hard and fast at getting them out quick so you won’t be waiting long.
They do a classic mature cheddar and onion, a creamy goat and honey or a strong stilton with pear. All depends on what type of cheese lover you are.
A small stand, with big flavours. A must at Maltby market!
Enjoy that one? Make sure you read about the next one coming in part three… Triple cooked chips involved just FYI…
