If you didn’t already know my name is Charlotte and I’ve been writing on my blog notsobasiclondon for the last 3 years.  While these pages are mostly filled with food and my love for it (Let’s keep it that way!), I thought it was about time you knew a bit more about the person behind the screen – both food and non-food related! Then we can get back to the important stuff you know … like pizza and pancakes :)

  1. I’m originally from Wales.
  2.  I moved to London 7 years ago on Friday 13th!
  3. Apart from food theatre is my other love.
  4. I work for a ticketing and production company in the bright lights of the West End. 
  5. My favourite food in the world is Indian.
  6. My real favourite food is baked beans on toast.
  7.  I’m not a fan of Chinese food.
  8. I love the moon, astrology and star signs. An ‘everything happens for a reason’ type person!
  9. I’m single.
  10. My biggest achievement so far is helping open a theatre in New York.
  11. The scariest moment so far is having my appendix removed.
  12. I can tap dance.
  13. I’m not a confident person.
  14. I once met the Spice Girls. 
  15. My life goal is to be a mermaid. Again, seriously.
  16. Breakfast is my favourite time of day and pancakes are my go to.
  17. I have Trypophobia. Google it and you’ll think I’m a weirdo.
  18. Moulin Rouge is life.
  19. I’m going to get the courage to get a tattoo this year.
  20. If I won the lottery, helping homelessness would be at the top of my list.
  21. I have a sister whos 9 years older than me.
  22. I’m growing my hair. It’s very long. 
  23. I did the ticket design for Harry Potter and The Cursed Child.
  24. Harry Potter is also life.
  25. The picture above was taken in Australia at a wine festival and I’m pretty merry. Haha.
  26.  I can say Wales’s longest place name ever. (It’s a train station!) Llanfairpwllgwyngythgogerchgwyndrobellllantisiliogogogoch.
  27. Pizza over Pasta.
  28. Breakfast at Tom’s Kitchen was the first meal in London that made me fall in love with food.
  29. Hawksmoor was the second.
  30. London is my favourite place in the whole world … and I’m not just saying that!
